Satyagraha with the tagline “Democracy under Fire”, is a film based on political themes with concept of Mahatma Gandhi’s Satyagraha, directed by Prakash Jha. The plot rotates around the uprising of the middle-class against a corrupt system and corrupt minister. The story of Satyagraha deals with the faction of the middle-class to re-negotiate democratic system. It's the tale of a gentleman who is a rigid believer of Gandhian principles, a determined entrepreneur who symbolizes the modern India shining attitude, and a social activist who aims to be a politician, a spirited political journalist and a devious politician who uses every way to break the system.
