Releasing on 20th December 2018, it is an American fantasy-adventure-family drama film produced and directed by Rob Marshall. In this film, Emily Blunt plays the titular role as magical and mysterious nanny Mary Poppins, who returns after decades to meet the Banks siblings (Michael Banks and Jane Banks) and her brother Michael’s three children, when they are going through a difficult phase in their lives. She helps them in rediscovering the joys they relished when they were children. In doing so, she is assisted by a street lamplighter named Jack and an eccentric cousin named Topsy.
