This American thriller shows the experiences of a young doctor Edward Newgate (Jim Sturgess), who go to Stonehearst Asylum for an apprenticeship. From a mental patient named Eliza Graves (Kate Beckinsale) to Superintendent Dr. Lamb, most of the people present there surprised him, and made him learn some lessons. Its screenplay has been written by Joseph Gangemi, and this striking and absorbing movie has been directed by Brad Anderson. The cast of film also includes Michael Caine, Ben Kingsley, David Thewlis and Brendan Gleeson.
