Auto Driver's Daughter Topped CA Exam

Prema Jayakumar, a Mumbai autorickshaw driver's daughter, has topped the All India Chartered Accountancy examination. 24-year old Prema made fantastic in the exam with a grade of 607 out of 800, a solid 75.88 per cent, and imputed her success to aid from her parents and teachers.

She also told that studying in a 300 sq-ft room in a chawl could have been a bit suppression, but it never proven a hindrance. "The ex-president of the CA Institute informed me and said I'd topped the CA exam. I cried so much out of joy. I've never been blissful. My father, mother & brother have pleased me a heap. Recognition goes to them for making an environment where I could epitome on my studies without any confusedness," Prema said.

What's much is that even her brother has absolved the exam, both in their first efforts. Her father Jayakumar Perumal has been an auto driver for many years, earning rightful about Rs 15,000 per month while her mother occupied as house help.

"I have always bucked up her to study whatever she liked. Credit goes to my daughter for her ambitious work. End-to-end her life she has always topped her exams," Prema's father said.

Both siblings had enrolled together with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to take the test in November 2012. Displaying academic excellency before too, Prema had placed second in her B Com Third year examination conducted by Mumbai University, bonding 90 per cent marks.
