CBSE Results success rate

The CBSE classes X results were declared on Thursday evening and the jubilant mood f students and parents explained the success rate of the results. The CCE method, put into effect last year has worked wonders in terms of bringing down the pre examination and pre-result stress among the students. Though, government schools have been recorded to have 99 per cent success rate in class X exams but when overall examination done, there is a great improvement and progress recorded in the results when compared to the previous few years. Some 225 students from the CBSE affiliated schools of the city scored perfect 10 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) in the class X board examination conducted by the CBSE. The results were announced on Thursday evening. Overall the pass percentage is estimated to be around 80% in the city. Initially, the results were slated to be announced at 4 pm but were delayed to 7 pm. Apoorva Tiwari, a student of Carmel Convent BHEL said, "It was a grueling time waiting for results. But then it ended on a happy note." Apoorva scored a 10 CGPA in the exams. Principals of Delhi Public School (DPS), Ajay Sharma and St Joseph's Convent (SJC), Idgah, Sr Lilly were both very happy with the results of their respective schools. While DPS had 56 10 CGPA holders, SJC on the other hand had 31.
