Indian Idol 2 Winner Dies of Jaundice

Singer Sandeep Acharya, winner of the second edition of all the rage reality show Indian Idol 2, died of jaundice at a hospital in Gurgaon on Sunday morning. He was 29 and is lived by his wife and an infant daughter. Sandeep, a resident of Bikaner in Rajasthan, was admitted to Medanta Hospital. Sandeep reportedly fell ill after presence a relative's wedding ceremony in Bikaner. Sandeep won India Idol 2 on 22 April 2006. He has later taken part in TV show Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 on channel 9X. Sandeep also won the award for best new Bollywood talent in New Jersey, USA and also won the Sur Aradhna award. The singer was born on February 4, 1984, and was the youngest in the family of two sisters and a brother, said the biography on his website.
