Advani Feels, Modi A Role Model for Growth

Just a day after, Sushma Swaraj, Leader of Bharatiya Janata Party honestly declared Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as a likely prime ministerial candidate of the party for 2014, there's extra support flowing in for him. Senior BJP leader LK Advani called the Gujarat Chief Minister as a "role model" of development while tempting to states to replicate him.

"The people of this state are hallowed to have a talented leader like Narendra Modi. I have no uncertainty in speaking that Modi is a role model for administrators around the country," Advani said.

BJP President Nitin Gadkari, who is recognized to contribute to a cold relationship with the Gujarat Chief Minister, also lauded the growth work completed by him. Sushma Swaraj, all through a rally in Gujarat on Sunday, which goes to polls on December 13, said that he was vigorous to be the Prime Minister.

Speaking to a rally in Vadodara, Sushma said, "There are no two opinions on Modi being an able candidate for PM's position. He has made great job in Gujarat."

Modi, however, has continually attempted to downplay his Prime Ministerial goals maintaining that Gujarat remains his spotlight and any planned shift to Delhi after the December Gujarat elections is only media assumption. "Six crore Gujaratis have agreed me a liability and I will place in all my efforts for Gujarat," Modi had said in a recent interview.
