Delhi beats Mumbai by 7 wickets

Delhi Dare Devils bowled out Mumbai Indians for 92 before recording a seven-wicket victory to top the table in the Indian Premier League on Monday. Mumbai captain Harbhajan Singh scored 33 and Rohit Sharma contributed 29 but no other batsmen reached double figures in the team's second lowest score in the IPL. Its lowest score was 87 against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali last year. Delhi captain Virender Sehwag hit 32 off 36 balls as Delhi raced to 3-93 in 14.5 overs. Delhi seamers Umesh Yadav, Morne Morkel and Ajit Agarkar picked up two wickets each after leftarm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem had removed both Mumbai openers within the space of three balls. Rohit Sharma hit two top-edged boundaries over the wicketkeeper's head before holing out to Ross Taylor, while Kieron Pollard (1) and Dinesh Karthik (3) played reckless shots to leave their team reeling at 6-44 in the 11th over. Singh dominated a 34-run stand with Australian Clint McKay (8) before Irfan Pathan broke through, and Agarkar brought the innings to a close by clean bowling last man Pragyan Ojha with four balls remaining. The Dare Devils have six points from three wins and a loss. Mumbai also has six points but has lost one more match.
