Noida flashes first digital games carnival

The national capital is set to host the first digital games carnival from April 6. For game lovers, this could be the best event ever taking place in their own city. It will be three day event and will see international and national gamers competing with each other under one roof. Some of the digital and online games that will be featured in the Indian gaming carnival (IGC) organized by WTF eventz Pvt Ltd include Need for Speed, Fifa Soccer, Tekken, Dota, Counter Strike, Hello, Pool, Poker, Angry Birds and Call of Duty. Kushagra, director of WTF Eventz Pvt Ltd said in a statement that the purpose and aim behind IGC is to expose the Indians to the electronic gaming experience. He added this will create a platform for developers, gamers, dealers and youngsters to share ideas under one roof and enjoy the gaming experience to the maximum. The event will take place at Ayatti Resort in Greater Noida and the special part about the carnival is that it will also pay tribute to the late Steve Jobs, founder and CEO Apple Inc. The entry passes will cost INR 500 for a day and INR 1,000 for three days.
