Punjab defeats Bangalore by 4 wickets

Kings XI Punjab won the match by defeating royal challengers Bangalore by four wickets on the next to last ball on Wednesday. This is truly an exacting revenge for an earlier loss to the same opponent in the Indian premier league. Azhar Mahmood won the prize wicket of chris gayle for 71 finishing with 3-20 to help restrict Bangalore to 158-5 at chinnaswamy stadium but Punjab made it 163-6 in 19.5 overs which was quiet impressive. Bangalore lost mayank agarwal in the second over and managed to crawl to a mere 33 in the power play when Praveen was on the fields. Gayle, then took in charge to set things right for the hosts. He added an excitement to the game by making flurry sixes and boundaries as he raced to his fifty off 32 balls but soon when Bangalore looked to be low with it, veteran ahzar mahmood put breaks on claiming three wickets including gayle, AB de Villiers and Andrew McDonald.
