FB Trialing “Save for Later Reading”

Aspiring to take on Pocket and other similar services, Facebook is testing a new characteristic that allows users save articles or links posted to Facebook for later reading. Facebook has not leveled this feature to all its users; in fact, the feature is noticeable to a few users in Facebook's mobile app. According to The edge, "when you make use of it, articles show up in a "saved" menu listed together with your Facebook apps." Facebook is recognized for experimenting with latest features with some turn out to be part of the social networking site, while others are simply forsaken. Thus, it is not yet clear whether this 'read-it-later' feature becomes an everlasting part of Facebook or is merely dropped after testing. "We're continuously testing new features, but we have not anything further to share at this instance," Facebook told.
