Google Launches “Android Kit Kat” Edition

Google has reportedly disclosed Nexus 5, its first device to run with the most up-to-date Android Kit Kat operating system. Nicknamed after the chocolate bar, the OS is intended to perform well on both high-end smart phones and cheaper feature phones, while the handset, made by LG, is slighter, slimmer and lighter than the previous Nexus 4, but it has a larger touch screen measuring 4.96 inch. According to the BBC, with the latest Android Kit Kat, Google had prepared the software make use of less memory so that it could be used on handsets with much lower specifications than top end smart phones. The newest OS comes with a superior virtual assistant, Google Now that employs in richer conversation with Nexus 5 users. The report said that the Nexus 5 had knock the slopes of Google's online store starting at 349 dollars for a 16 GB model while the 32 GB model costing approximately 399 dollars.
