Why Energy Drinks are Found Deadly

Taking energy drinks may augment blood pressure and affect your heart's natural beat, new research directed by an Indian-origin scientist has informed.

US researchers analyzed data from seven formerly published experimental and involutional studies to find out how consuming energy drinks might wallop heart health.

In the first part of the excavation analysis, researchers analyzed the QT interval of 93 people who had just exhausted one to three cans of energy drinks.

The QT quantity is a segment of the heart's beat on an electrocardiogram; when drawn-out, it can cause occasional heartbeats or sudden cardiac death. They found that QT measure was 10 milliseconds longer for individual who had energy drinks.

"Doctors are afraid if patients experience an extra 30 milliseconds in their QT interval from standard," said Sachin A Shah, lead writer from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
